Chronic labor shortages and endless repetitive tasks leave store staff deeply exhausted and operations struggling to keep up

Current grocery shopping leaves customers stranded in slow checkout lines and endless aisles, while retail staff are stretched thin by the same repetitive routines

The concept phase was unfamiliar territory. Every design solution opened up new problems, turning the project into an interesting thought experiment about future shopping rather than an obvious everyday answer.

Dialing in the right proportions required physical testing. Building a rough volume prototype proved that our early concepts were vastly oversized. That hands on sanity check forced us to scale back, slim down the chassis, and design for real retail spaces.

Creating a mobile robot pushed my design process into unfamiliar territory. Working with such large surface areas forced me to think differently about styling, learning how to sculpt broad panels and give a robotic form real character.

BizzBuzz is a travel startup born by the collaboration of professionals from tech and banking industries.

Autonomous Shopping Cart

Designed to connect with your personal shopping list, the robot navigates efficiently across various aisles to locate every product. Items are scanned automatically the moment they are placed inside, delivering a streamlined run finished with automatic checkout.

Onboard sensors automatically detect and log packaged goods as you place them into the cart. An integrated scale bed is weighing fruits and vegetables on the spot and eliminating manual sticker printing.


The internal bay holds up to four standard shopping bags simultaneously. This allows users to sort groceries directly by category or destination while browsing


The robot adapts dynamically to your pace. It can navigate autonomously ahead along the optimized store route to lead the way, or smoothly follow behind as a loyal, hands free companion.
